Traveling without moving

We've made it to München now and got out first taste of Oktoberfest. And what can i say except it's friggin awesome.
But hard to find a seat inside any of the tents.

Beer in a glass the siye of your head is cool and the traditional getup the girls are wearing is definately appealing.
ITs nice to be here its cheaper than Amsterdam. As nice as it was there I'm kinda glad to have moved on.
We caught a bus which took near 16 hours to get here and sitting on a bus for that long sucks.

Ohh the keyboards here are all odd so Iäll probably have more typos than usual for the next few updates so I appologise in advance.

Any way we need to find a way to prague and I need to get back to that.

Fun fun thats it.

Ever got lost in a strange city looking for pancakes but not knowing exactly where the pancake shop was?
We did exactly that yesterday. We managed to get completey lost and were headding out away from Asterdam whilst thinking we were infact headding toward it.
Thanks for the compass Nige gave me we managed to find our selves and get back and eat pancakes.

Last night J and me went to a pub to see a gig despite being advertised as an elektro night and the music being far from that I had a good night. The first band we saw was called lushous or something and the other had the word elektro in their man but the rest was dutch and I dont remember it.

Anyway I've got 3 minutes left of internet time so I'm gonna leave you to resume your normal lives.

Whoo Amsterdams fun

So me an Jay made it in to Amsterdam in once piece the ferry was nice ver short and still a comfortable and cheap way to get here. For those planning on travel either way Recommend www.dutchflyer.com
There were issues with the train when we got here but replacment bus service was prompt and the bus driver was friendly.
Amsterdam train station was closed at 3am when we got in, so we had to find somewhere else to store our luggage and kindly the people at the hostel we're staying at tonight held it for us in their personal storage cubbaord (its so full of drinks they had to relocate some of them for us.

This left us to pull the all nighter as originally planned.
First of all the redlight district was interesting plenty os hot girls in windows but by that time they seemed to be getting tired and half of them didnt look to interested.

Me and J walked about fo a while and bumped in couple of blokes who were in a similar situation as us (ie no bed for the night and were pulling an all nighter) The poor fella's credit card had been rejected and they gave his room to somone else. They told him this just after he had arrived.

So we chatted to them for a bit and did more walking about. I purchased food from a local street vender and then was persued later by some black guy telling us we still owed the vendor money and we should give it to him to take back.

Quickly I saw a con and I walked back to the vender who said it was all fine so me an J continued on and this guy keepet hasteling us. After about 15 or 20 minutes I had lost all patients and haggled ths guy down to 5 euro if he would leave us alone. Much dismayed he accepted this and left us to continue our night. The morning rolled on with little other excitement until somewhere near 9am and bacisally tried to mug me. The showed in the tip of his had a small silver looking thing. I dont know why but immediately I doubted it was actually was a knife because he didnt show the blade. So I insited I'd only hand over what coin i had if he showd the blade which he refused over and over gain threatting to stab me in the neck. This went on for 10 or some minuted then I caught a better glimpse of his weapon it was just a fucking mobile phone. So with that I spoke loud and clear and said "It's a fucking mobile phone you fool" turned and walked on and Jay folwowed and we escaped unscathed a second time!

So we wen to a market we both buyght watches (5 euro for 2 how could anyone turn that down) and promptly me and J both broke ours :) I've managed to fix min and Jay's should also be fixable with little effort.

So we then Went back to the hostel checked in (the staff there are heaps friendly and ourgoing) The place is called "Dirty Nell's" I'll keep you posted as to what its like once we actually sleep there.

Back in umm london

Well I'm back in london afer a helluva train trip.
For some reason they decided wednesday was a good day for rail works instead of weekends like they usualy are. And when the train finally made it to the station when I went to pick up my backpack ont of the shoulder staps broke (yay remember if its a cheap backback no matter how good it looks and how you pull at the stiching in the store to ensure its good it's still probably crap) so I'll either have to sew it up (and hope somethign else doesnt break) or buy new luggage I haven't decided yet but its friggin annoying!

So I arrived in london an hour later than I was supposed to and had a few pints at my old place of emlpoyment (The Fountains Abbey for those who forgot) and now I'm about to meet up with alisha and go watch a movie.

Jay get here tomorrow how fucking cool is THAT!!!!!!!!!!!! actually it is cool because it is. And we're gonna have fun and do stuff so nyer :P
