Well the germans got something right
Wednesday 16th of August 2006 10:52 PM
Today I finally heard from J at to when he's coming over and I'm Damned excited! So today was the task of re-booking my flights to the US and home.
First off was my flight out of London to New York so I called Lufthansa (The german mob) spoke to a nice chap with an irish accent (presumably a UK call centre) and in a few short minutes it was all sorted and I now Leave London form Heathrow at like 6am and via Frankfurt I get to JFK at about midday.
So next wat the task of rebooking my flight from San Francisco Back to Melbourne (Via Sydney) so I called United Airlines (who the flight was with) and a whole half an hour later of "hang on a second can I put you on hold", "I'm not sure I need to speak with my supervisor", "I just need to check with Lufthansa if thats ok" and flights that took me back in time it was settled.
I now land in Melbourne on the 22nd of October at around 9:30am. I am however left somewhat dubious that I even have flights after the kuffel with the guy in the Indian call centre. So here's hoping I can actually get home :)
Now I need to book my trip accros the US and workout what
Jay 'n me are doing when he gets here.
Have fun and remember Indian Call centers are good for ... umm something.

Well I've made it to wales finally and by george it's nice out here.
I'm stainyg in a small town call Llangwm in an area called Pembrookshire. I'm near the sea again and it's nice to smell that in the air. The trees and shrube everywhere is a great change of scenery.
The only issue out here is Vodafone don't seem to have any service out this way so if you want to contact me It'll need to be via email .
Have fun and enjoy the fresh salty air
